A new extended TV spot for the upcoming film, 300: Rise of an Empire, has just debuted. In it, we're given a quick refresher on the story and what to expect in the film's narrative.

There's about a minute and a half of footage in the extended TV spot, which was recently posted to YouTube by Warner Bros. Pictures. Naval warfare gets the focus this time around as the Greek general Themistocles, played by Sullivan Stapleton, goes head-to-head with the Persian war machine led by Xerxes.

There's also a good deal of footage showing off Eva Green's Artemesia, the revenge-happy commander of the Persian army who's actually behind the transformation of Xerxes into the god-king. These two factions will collide as the Greeks battle the invading Persians on the high seas.

300: Rise of an Empire will debut in theaters on March 7, 2014. Until then, tide yourself over by watching the extended TV spot above.
