One of the best parts of the weather cooling off is that we're hopefully done with wildfires in southern Idaho. After living through another brutal fire season, it's hard to fully comprehend what we've just experienced. There's a new video that's just been shared of what one of our fires looked like from Nevada.

To fully appreciate how crazy this is, this video was shot at night from Jacks Peak, Nevada. Look at how far away this is from us. Jacks Peak is the red thingy on this map.

The video doesn't specify the day or the wildfire this is referring to. We've had so many wildfires in southern Idaho this year, it's anyone's guess what fire this is. All I can say is it's another reminder of how thankful I am that our southern Idaho wildfire season is (hopefully) over.
