Twin Falls Bronco Shop Closes
Twin Falls headquarters for Boise State Broncos gear is now closed. The shop officially closed a few days ago, and an "available space" sign is now taped to the former entrance door.
The Broncos Shop, which originally was located in the Magic Valley Mall, has ceased operating at 176 Blue Lakes Boulevard North, just down from Jimmy John's. Twin Falls' fans can still find Boise State apparel and collectibles at several city locations, including Albertsons, Fred Meyer and Walmart.
The Broncos Shop in Twin Falls donated a portion of its sales to student scholarship organizations, and was the only Twin Falls official BSU shop for several years. Locations still exist in Boise and Nampa, according to the university's store locator site.
The best place, in this Broncos fan's opinion, in Twin Falls to find BSU merchandise is at Fred Meyer. They have a giant space that has everything from Broncos cornhole sets, to coolers, to apparel and collectibles. The Bronco Shop had a decent selection as well, but was more of a shipping hub for the main stores in Boise to area customers.
Fans can of course find BSU merchandise at a number of websites, including Fan's Edge, Fanatics and The Blue and Orange Store. If you're not a fan of online shopping and would rather see your money go to the university, then stopping in during halftime, or after a Boise State home game, is the best choice.
We wan't to thank the shop employees in Twin Falls for their years of service. I personally would go in there from time to time to buy gear for our remote broadcasts, and always had a very pleasant experience.
GO BRONCOS!
