
Pig Races A Part Of Twin Falls County Fair! Here’s All The Info
Fair season is back in southern Idaho!
If you've driven past the site of the Twin Falls County Fair in Filer, you've probably noticed a lot of activity as of late. That's because organizers, staffers, and volunteers are hard at work prepping for this year's family event, which kicks off very soon.
Fair organizers held their annual meeting with area media this week and some exciting news was shared. The fair will run August 27 (Wednesday) through September 1 (Monday). The fairgrounds are located at 215 Fair Avenue in Filer.
Familiar fair attractions back this year include Monster Truck Insanity, Carnival Kiddie Land, Chicks N Chaps, comedy and magic shows, rides, Junior Rodeo, Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, Future Farmers of America competitions, and all the yummy snacks and food from longtime vendors.

A live performance from Josh Turner will take place on Sunday, August 31, at 7 P.M. Quilting demonstrations, balloon art, petting farm, model railroad displays, and exhibits will also be a part of this year's fair.
The most exciting news to come out of the fair this week was the announcement of the Aces Pig Races that will take place three times a day, according to the press packet provided by organizers.
