Twenty-five years have almost passed since a Blue Lakes Boulevard massage parlor owner was found murdered at her place of business. Over the years, many stories have been shared and reported on regarding one of Twin Falls' longest active cold cases, but to date, no one has been held responsible for the death.

For many longtime Twin Falls residents, passing the address of 1037 Blue Lakes Boulevard is a reminder of one of the city's most heinous crimes. While details of the incident still leave a lot of questions unanswered, local police were quick to rule it a homicide.

I recently read about the murder on the Idaho Cold Cases website, in which the Twin Falls Police Department posted a photo in 2017 of victim Su Cha Kim, as well as the grainy security camera image of a person who used her credit card at numerous locations in the days following. I also found a detailed account of the crime on the Reddit / Idaho website from 2021.

Kim was 54-years-old at the time of her death. No arrests have been made in the case to date. Kim was a private person, and virtually unknown by a large number of city residents. She did have a sister that lived locally, according to details shared on Reddit.

If you have any knowledge of this crime that could assist Twin Falls investigators in the case and potentially bring the perpetrator to justice, please call 208-735-4357, or 844-TIP-4040. Tips can remain anonymous. Please help solve this nearly quarter-century-old cold case if you can.
