BOISE, Idaho (KLIX) A Twin Falls man has been sentenced to more than a year behind bars for unlawfully having firearms. U.S. Attorney Bart Davis announced Friday the sentencing of 48-year-old Dale Wayne Jensen, to 16 months in prison after investigators found several firearms in his possession in March of 2017. Twin Falls County Sheriff's deputies served a search warrant on Jensen's home where they found five firearms along with eight pounds of marijuana and marijuana concentrate. Jensen admitted to police that the guns and marijuana were his. Jensen was not allowed to have firearms because of a previous felony conviction for having a controlled substance in 2002.
