Sometimes people resort to doing some pretty dumb things out of boredom.

One Twin Falls resident reported over the weekend that someone was deliberately damaging automobile tires. Multiple area residents responded to the information shared on a neighborhood crime app.

When it comes to non-violent crimes that make a person feel extremely violated, home break-ins and intentional automobile damage are two big ones. Car and truck tires aren't cheap, and when a criminal choses to destroy them, it can be both infuriating and stressful for the owner.

"I hope if someone can identify them they prosecute them quickly, " responded one Twin Falls resident. "No need for that type of behavior in our neighborhoods."
