An interesting video has surfaced recently of what a witness claims to be a 'fleet' of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) recorded over a lake in northern Utah. The post has gotten a lot of attention over the past 48 hours since it was shared online.

There are a handful of lakes and reservoirs within a 100 miles radius of Salt Lake City. The witness, who goes by the name Scott C. Waring, alleges to have captured the content at approximately 11 A.M. on January 17, 2026, but fails to identify exactly which body of water the footage was shot over, which leaves some questions to be answered as to the authenticity of the recording.

The recording appears to show a several mile long line of what looks like fiery debris over a lake. A mountain range can also be seen in the background, as well as a few onlookers on bikes. The Great Salt Lake is the likely water source captured in the video, but again, it's not verified by the witness.

"I recorded 4 or 5 short videos of the even and two of the area ten minutes later with the object no longer there. The objects look like two long disks. The smaller disk is about 2 miles across and the bigger disk is about 5 miles across," was a direct quote from the witness on UFO Sightings Daily.

What do you believe Scott captured on Saturday, January 17, near Salt Lake City? Or, do you believe the footage to be faked?
