The Snake River Bros according to the nominator does a lot for the community. The 501c3 organization helps raise money for children in need and is at most of the charitable events around town. According to the nominator they also help children with debilitating injuries or diseases and have for over 20 years now.

According to the nominator Chris Lewis is a volunteer firefighter in Wendell and has been for many years. The nominator also said that Chris spearheaded the effort to retrieve the belongings of the people who were involved in the accident on the Malad Gorge Bridge on I84 near Tuttle and took the day off work to return those personal items of the victims of the crash.

According to the nominator, Taylor Hunsaker has been a fire fighter for several years now. The nominator stated that he is always going out of his way to help others day or night, working or not. The nominator said he has made many sacrifices for the community and others.
