Walking Dead, Marvel Movie Star Appearing South Of Twin Falls ID
One of Marvel Comics' most beloved characters will be represented by the actor who has played the big-screen role of the villain for more than a decade at an upcoming event southeast of Twin Falls, Idaho. Tickets for the comic book convention are on sale, and Gem State fans of Guardians of the Galaxy will want to make sure they have the day off.
The Hollywood adaptation of the Guardians of the Galaxy comic book franchise hit movie theaters in 2014. There have been three films released in the series that have grossed more than a combined $2 billion worldwide, according to Statista. The stories' blue-skinned, ruthless, space pirate Yondu won over the hearts of fans of the comic book series and was portrayed by actor Micheal Rooker.

Michael Rooker's screen and television resume also includes Tombstone, Days of Thunder, Cliffhanger, The Bone Collector, The Walking Dead, and dozens more. Rooker, 69, is going to be making an appearance at the FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention beginning September 25 and running through the 27th. The venue is located just 215 miles southeast of Twin Falls.
I was fortunate enough to interview Michael Rooker a decade ago prior to his appearance at Reno Comic Con. I met the actor a few days later, and let's just say he's a massive ball of sarcasm, goofiness, and fun.
