Some humans were born to take flight in some shape or form. I'm not one of those types of people, but I do enjoy living vicariously through those who push the boundaries of elevation and produce stunning visuals for others to marvel at.

I'm a feet on the ground kind of guy. I've flown several times in my life, but I try to avoid it at all costs. Heights are a legitimate fear (acrophobia) that between three and six percent of the United States population suffers from, according to the Cleveland Clinic. Bungee jumping, BASE jumping, sky diving, and paramotoring are all activities I'll go to my grave without ever doing.

In my continued search to share remarkable, visual experiences carried out by Idahoans, I discovered a recent video shot in the sky above Bear Lake, which shares the Idaho and Utah borders. Paramotoring is like being on a hovercraft made for one, except you're in the sky instead of on water. A giant propeller located behind the pilot is what allows the machine to move, or in this case take flight, and the results are fun to watch.
