WATCH: White Sphere Anomaly Reportedly Seen Over South Idaho
Residents in southwestern Idaho reported witnessing an unexplained, white, circular object that emitted some sort of vapor trail last week. Videos have been shared and a report has been filed with a Washington State center that investigates unidentified aerial phenomena.
Have you seen anything strange in the sky above Boise in the past week? A unique video surfaced a few days ago that was taken by an area father who was outside with his 9-year-old child and recorded a UAP slowly moving across the sky. The clip, titled "White UAP Over Boise, Idaho," has been viewed nearly 800 times since Monday (June 24).
It's unclear whether or not the object emitted any sort of vapor trail. It was witnessed for approximately 10 minutes beginning at 5:07 P.M.
The incident, which took place late in the afternoon on June 18, was also reported to the National UFO Reporting Center. Details of the sighting were published on June 21 on the NUFORC website under incident number 181937.
The sphere appears to hover at a fairly high altitude. The witness attempts to zoom in on the object, but it becomes hazy. The video was posted on the YouTube channel of UFO Sightings Daily, which has over 73,000 subscribers.
A balloon is listed as a possible explanation for the sighting, according to the NUFORC incident report. It's unclear whether or not the object emitted any sort of vapor trail. It was witnessed for approximately 10 minutes beginning at 5:07 P.M.
