That would be sweet!  

I remember the first time my now-husband cooked dinner, we eat a DiGiorna Pizza.  It was very romantic.

So he cooks the pizza and takes it out of the oven and places right on the counter-top.  That was when I noticed the counter-top cover was missing and all was left was wooden particle board.

Evidently, my husband was going to use this wooden part of the counter-top as a wooden makeshift cutting board.  I don't think it was clean.  It was pretty nasty.

We are now married and while that part of the counter-top is still missing the cover and looks like crap, we are now using actual cutting boards.  I'll take this as a win.
