A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the Magic Valley for snow and blowing snow this Thursday (Nov. 13) as the first winter storm of the season arrives.

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow in the Western Magic Valley. The advisory is in effect Thursday (Nov. 13) from 8 am to Thursday at 11 pm.

  • Snow Amounts: 1 to 2 inches in the valleys and 2 to 4 inches in the mountains.
  • Snow levels: Valley floors.
  • Winds: East 20 to 30 mph in the Magic Valley.
  • Impacts: Snow will cover the roads creating a travel hazard. Winds will cause blowing and drifting snow and reduced visibility.
