NAMPA, Idaho (AP) — A southwest Idaho carjacking suspect with a string of escapes is back in custody.

Nampa police arrested Rodney Lee Seiber on outstanding warrants Thursday morning. He faces charges of escape, kidnapping and robbery. Police say that in September he stole a company van in Nampa but eluded police after crashing. About five days later he eluded police by jumping out a hotel window in Hardin, Montana.

He was captured after a three-day manhunt. Police say he spent several days in the wilderness and open sores on his feet became infected. He was released from police custody during the illness, though charges remained. He's being held in the Ada County Jail on a $100,000 bond..
