1995 Murder Of Pregnant Student West Of Boise ID Remains Unsolved
A brutal murder that took place nearly three decades ago involving a pregnant, teenage college student northwest of Boise is one of Oregon's oldest cold cases. Do you have information that could help detectives capture the individual(s) responsible for the slaying of Jama Harms?
Perhaps someone didn't like the idea of a child being brought into the world at such a young age.
Just a couple of days before Halloween in 1995 someone broke into the apartment of Eastern Oregon University student Jama Harms and bludgeoned her to death, according to details shared on the Elkhorn Media Group website. The university is located in the community of La Grande, 170 miles northwest of Boise, Idaho. The person(s) who committed this atrocious act took two lives that day, and needs to be brought to justice.

October 27 will mark 30 years since the death of Jama Harms. It's likely that her killer(s) is still alive today, and possibly in their late fourties or fifties and still residing in eastern Oregon not too far from the Idaho border. Someone out there knows what happened to Jama, and who is responsible.
Information found on olis.oregonlegislature.gov mentions that at least one hammer may have been used in the murder. Perhaps someone didn't like the idea of a child being brought into the world at such a young age.
