As I interpret this story, the Department of Transportation would like to make something very clear to people with peanut allergies:  It’s not that we HATE you, per se . . . it’s just that you don’t really matter.

No offense.  No surprise there considering how damn expensive it is to fly and just how much it BLOWS to fly!  And the blowing continues!

The D.O.T. has announced that the only way they can legally tell airlines to stop serving peanuts is if a major study proves that serving peanuts on a plane can put people at mortal risk.

There hasn’t been a study that’s proven that so far . . . so the peanuts will keep on rolling.  You know, assuming the airlines still choose to serve peanuts and don’t start charging a peanut fee.  Which HAS to be coming, right?

AND, don't you think they'd spin it in their favor and just remove the peanuts from the flight.  Something like: "We just care so much for your well-being that we don't want one of you to unintentionally expose someone to a deathly allergies", like shown here:
