A truck carrying pyrotechnics for Kiss and Motley Crue was involved in an accident in Ohio while en route to tonight’s scheduled show at the DTE Energy Music Theater near Detroit, Mich. A joint statement on Kiss’s website includes the pictures below while announcing that tonight’s show has been rescheduled for tomorrow (Sept. 6).

Proving once again that fans will buy anything if there’s a possibility that an artist has touched it, Guns N’ Roses have put their old clothes dryer on eBay. The Kenmore electric dryer is one of 21 items being sold “to make room for new stuff.” We hear the new front-loading washers are nice.

‘Afterglow,’ the new Black Country Communion album scheduled for release on Oct. 30 might be the rock supergroup’s final effort. Glenn Hughes (formerly of Deep Purple) tells ABC News that guitarist Joe Bonamassa’s solo touring schedule makes it impossible for BCC to tour, and he can’t be in a band that only records.

This fall the Rolling Stones will re-release a significant portion of their hits catalog with a muli-disc greatest album called ‘Grrr!’ The band announced three-disc and four-disc options, allowing fans to snag up to 80 of their most important and best known works, plus two new songs cut specifically for this project.

John Stockfish, the bassist responsible for the well-known riff that carried Gordon Lightfoot’s ‘Sundown’ to success internationally, has died. According to the Windsor Star, the musician was buried in Mississauga today (Aug. 30) after dying in his hometown of Windsor, Ont. on Aug. 20 of natural causes.

Last week, Mark David Chapman was denied parole for a seventh straight time since serving the minimum of his 20 year to life sentence for shooting Beatle John Lennon. That seems to be what he wants. The convicted killer says that if were granted parole he would “probably stay right where I’m at.”

An unobstructed look at the Rolling Stones‘ 50 year career is what director Brett Morgen is promising with ‘Crossfire Hurricane,’ a biopic set to debut on HBO this fall. Footage from early road trips and interviews from the group’s formative years will help create the ultimate behind-the-scenes look at the life and lifestyle of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and company.

Former Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan took the stage alongside a 13-year-old from Italy on Tuesday night, to play a set list of Metallica, Nirvana and yes, GNR covers. It was part of the boys wish with the Make-a-Wish foundation. Simone Capelli is battling bone cancer.

Aerosmith have hinted they’ll be looking back to craft the new songs on their upcoming ‘Music From Another Dimension!’ album. Presumably, that meant working with Jack Douglas again, the producer who helped shaped the band’s early sound. It also means choosing songs that are almost a decade in the making.

The Rolling Stones have begun recording music — presumably new music — to mark their 50th anniversary. Mick Jagger tweeted a photo on Thursday of him sitting on a drum stool, holding a telecaster in front of a few racks of guitars and amplifiers. The band was also photographed entering or leaving a recording studio in Paris two days earlier.
