‘Breaking Bad’ Wins Best Television Series at the 2014 Golden Globes
After coming to an end last year, 'Breaking Bad' managed to squeeze out one last "Best Television Series" award, taking the big prize at the 2014 Golden Globes.
Shortly after, Bryan Cranston won Best Actor for a Television Series for his work on 'Breaking Bad,' the show itself won the big TV prize, taking home Best TV Series. Cranston came back on stage and was joined by co-stars Aaron Paul and Anna Gunn as well as series creator Vince Gilligan.
'Breaking Bad' beat out competitors ‘Downton Abbey,’ ‘The Good Wife,' ‘House of Cards' and ‘Masters of Sex,' all great alternatives but considering 'Breaking Bad' came to its climactic close in 2013, it wasn't very surprising to see it take home one last Best TV Series trophy.
As of press time, there's still a chance for Aaron Paul to win Best Supporting Actor and sweep the major awards they were nominated in.
