Caldwell Child Molester May Have Victims Dating Back To 1970’s
58-year-old Mac William Henderson is behind bars now at the Canyon County Jail and is being held with a $1 Million bond. Henderson is looking at a possible LIFE sentence and has a long record of child abuse which possibly dates back to the 1970s.
According to KTVB, Henderson was arrested back on December 15, 2018, on felony charges of lewd conduct with a child under the age of 16. Investigators have dived in and now believe he's been sexually abusing children for more than 40 years. Here's what the Caldwell Police Department released to the public...
During a recent follow-up interview by investigators, statements were made by Mr. Henderson that leads the investigators to believe there may be more victims, going back as far as the 1970’s
Henderson lived in the 100 block of Derry Avenue, the 4900 block Layton Avenue, the 3000 block of Iowa Avenue and the 2100 block of Airport Avenue. He's been in that area since 2001. Before that, he resided in California, Oregon, and Nevada. He's pleaded guilty to his last couple of charges but pleads 'Not Guilty' to a sexual battery on a child from 2016 and sexual abuse of a minor from 2008 - to which Henderson has pleaded not guilty.
