California Is Home To World’s Largest Corn Maze

Halloween, flavored coffee drinks, and spooky-themed corn mazes are three of the greatest things about October. There are dozens of spectacular corn mazes across the United States, but there can be only one "world's largest."
Cool Patch Pumpkins, which spans over 34 acres, offers group photos, hay rides, refreshments, and changes the designs of the cornfield often, according to its official website.
Counting the number of corn mazes in the U.S. would take an absurd amount of time, but there are thousands out there. Many farmers decorate their mazes and allow the public to walk through them in the fall season before starting the regrowing process in late March or early April. Timeout.com compiled a list of some of the most impressive corn mazes in the country, but managed to leave the largest one off its list.
Richardson Farm in Illinois tops their list of the best of the best, and if you Google "the world's largest corn maze," it's mentioned as holding that distinction, but it turns out that's inaccurate. The Richardson Farm corn maze is listed at 28 acres, which is six acres smaller than Cool Patch Pumpkins in Dixon, California.
