A competency hearing has been scheduled in the case of a former Utah reality television star who is currently facing a murder charge after making incriminating remarks regarding the death of a fellow prison inmate. Individuals charged with criminal offenses are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Las Vegas' Clark County Detention Center was the site of a recent alleged homicide of a 42-year-old inmate. Police have charged the victim's cellmate with the crime.

Former Utah Reality Series Cast Member Faces Murder Charge Of Cellmate.

Chad Ollinger, 41, is known by many reality television fans from his role in 'Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch,' a Discovery Channel program shot in eastern Utah that deals with reported supernatural occurrences taking place on the grounds. Not to be confused with Skinwalker Ranch, located 30 miles south, which is the site of another filming location for a History Channel series that focuses on similar content.

According to an inmate search of the detention center, Ollinger's arrest date is listed as October 27. He was initially taken into custody over trespassing and larceny charges, according to News 3. The case numbers are 25-CR-092393 and 25-CR-114435.

Ollinger's next court appearance will be January 21, in which it will be determined if he is competent to stand trial. Blunt force trauma is listed as the cause of the inmate's death, according to News 3.
