
Colorado Coach Apologizes To Idaho Fans For Spitting Incident
The Colorado State football athletic department formally apologized Sunday afternoon on its website to Boise State players, coaches, and students for an incident involving the team's quarterback that took place during Saturday's game at Albertson's Stadium.
An incident involving Colorado State's freshman quarterback Darius Curry has made national news after he was caught on camera spitting at a Boise State defender during Saturday's game in Boise. The Boise State Broncos went on to defeat Colorado State 49-21 in front of more than 30,000 fans.
Boise State improved to 7-4 (5-2 in conference) Saturday with a decisive win against the Colorado State Rams. The game was overshadowed by an act of unsportsmanlike conduct, which resulted in two Rams players getting suspended for their involvement.

Rams Head Football Coach Tyson Summers addressed the media following the game and voiced his displeasure regarding to incident. Curry was not seen spitting on the BSU player by any referees, so no penalty was handed out during the game.
Summers, along with Colorado State Director of Athletics, John Weber, issued a joint apology Sunday afternoon on the school's website.
"These actions are unacceptable. We are all regretful for what occurred last night, and on behalf of everyone at Colorado State, I want to apologize to the Boise State Football Student-Athletes, Director of Athletics Jeramiah Dickey, Coach Danielson and the entire Boise State Football program", said Weber in the statement.
Curry, and one other Colorado State player, have been suspended for the team's final game on November 28 against Air Force.
