JEROME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — Traffic is now flowing after a two vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 93 just north of the Interstate 84 interchange.

The Jerome County Sheriff’s office said three people were involved in the crash and the individuals were transported to a local hospital. There were two people in the PT Cruiser and one in the pickup truck.

The sheriff’s office is investigating the crash that they were called out to at about 3:27 p.m. One car in the southbound lane sustained front-end damage and a pickup truck was retrieved out of some brush southwest of the intersection, north of the interstate.

Lanes of travel began to open at about 4:30 p.m. The sheriff’s office said an air ambulance was called out, but none of the injured were transported via air.

The Jerome Rural Fire Department also responded to the accident.
