Disneyland has been making dreams come true by entertaining families since the park first opened in Anaheim, California, in 1955. The park also continues to attract tourists who seek to enhance their experiences through the use of mind-expanding drugs to test the 'Happiest Place On Earth" theory.

I had a very unique opportunity growing up just 20 miles from Anaheim in the late seventies. My father landed a security job with Disneyland following his discharge from the military shortly after he served in the Vietnam War. So, my older brother and I had the "golden ticket" to get into the park whenever we wanted.

The Internet is full of stories of people still using drugs like LSDmushrooms, and MDMA while visiting the parks in California, Florida, and Paris, France.

I remember later in life my dad talking about all the people that security had to escort out of Disneyland for alcohol and drug use. He claimed he'd been told that drug busts at the park had been going on long before he got hired around 1977. The Internet is full of stories of people still using drugs like LSD, mushrooms, and MDMA while visiting the parks in California, Florida, and Paris, France.

(WARNING: Videos contain bad language, discussions, and content dealing with drug use)

This story isn't intended to romanticize drug use or encourage it in any way. Serious consequences can happen from trying to take drugs or alcohol into public settings. Disneyland should be a place where families can bond and create lasting memories in a safe environment.
