Witnesses are still being sought by the Napa County Sheriff's Office, and anyone with additional information is being asked to contact detectives. Saturday's fatal fight took place just up the road from one of the country's most notorious murder sites, Twin Oak Ridge.

Two young adults were sunbathing at the site on September 27, 1969, when a man stepped out from behind some trees and approached the couple with a gun and knife. Both were tied up and taunted before being attacked. The stabbings, in which one of the victims died, were determined to have been committed by the Zodiac Killer, whose identity still remains unknown to this day.

Lake Berryessa is a very crowded destination in the warmer months. Bay Area and Central Valley residents make up a large number of visitors. The lake offers camping, boating, fishing, hiking, picnicking, cycling, and other amenities. To get more information on Lake Berryessa, click here.
