
Free Kid’s Pumpkins, Food, Music At Heyburn ID Festival On 10/5
Kick the Halloween season into high gear early this week by taking your kids east of Twin Falls for a pumpkin, craft, and safety festival. The event is in conjunction with a southern Idaho animal shelter and attendees will get the opportunity to have their pets chipped and handle puppies, along with lots of other activities.
Minidoka Joint Powers Animal Control & Shelter is joining the organizers of the Annual Riverton Pumpkin & Safety Festival happening Friday, October 5, for a family-friendly gathering at one of the city's parks. Heyburn is located 40 miles east of Twin Falls.
This is a great opportunity to score FREE pumpkins for southern Idaho kids and learn how to keep pets safe.

This Friday's event will take place at the Heyburn Riverside Park, according to the official Meta page. Safety vendors, crafts, and food will be part of the festival, and kids will be allowed to choose one pumpkin at no charge.
The Minidoka animal shelter will offer pet microchipping for $20, and animals will be on-site for adoption. The festival will have giveaways, a drawing, and music as well. The Heyburn Annual Riverton Pumpkin & Safety Festival will run from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M.
