Ahead of this weekend's American International Toy Fair in NYC, where toy companies will preview their upcoming lines for the press (and we'll be sure to report on the latest happenings), Hasbro unveiled the first official look at the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' action figures from their Marvel Legends Infinite Series.

The upcoming space adventure stars Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Bradley Cooper voicing Rocket Raccoon, WWE star David Baustista as Drax The Destroyer and Vin Diesel voicing Groot, and each have been rendered in toy form. As you can see in the first poster for these puppies, shown below courtesy of Yahoo Movies, was inspired by that very first lineup image of the assembled team.

According to Marvel's official announcement for 'Guardians of the Galaxy':

An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits–Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon; Groot, a tree-like humanoid; the deadly and enigmatic Gamora; and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand–with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.

'Guardians of the Galaxy' will hit theaters this August 1, and the first trailer will drop online Tuesday, February 18.
