I love my job. I make Transformers vs. G.I.Joe comics on a monthly basis (with the help of my co-writer John Barber). As part of due diligence, it's my duty to see Transformers: Age of Extinction. My ticket is a business expense. I'm making my comic not just for fans of Transformers and G.I.Joe, but for the rest of planet Earth, too. As a Transformers author I need to know how the larger world percieves Transformers so that I can play up to certain expectations and run counter to preconceived notions. In that capacity, I documented my observations about the film.
We've seen Hulk Hands, Thing Hands and even a Rocket Raccoon mask, but Hasbro's San Diego Comic-Con International 2014 offerings will outfit fan hands in a straight up Infinity Gauntlet. The legendary jeweled glove (or a foam facsimile, anway) is part of a special $74.99 box set that includes 3.75" figures of Nebula, Starfox, Thanos and his unrequited love Mistress Death. The cosmic theme con
Though it'll have been nearly a full year since Hasbro teased its 6" tall Jubilee action figure at San Diego Comic-Con International, fans will finally be able to put the X-Man together this June as part of a Toys "R" Us exclusive Marvel Legends Unlimited wave. The series consists of Stryfe, Marvel Now Cyclops, Marvel Now Storm, a kind of classic Magneto, and an unmasked Wolverine.
Windblade, a recent addition to Transformers universe, is not like all the other bots that came before her. She's the first Transformer created entirely by fans, through a series of polls on toy manufactuer Hasbro's website.
The Windblade toy debuts later this year, but to learn more about the character fans should pick up the new Transformers: Windblade four-issue series from IDW Publishing, debu
Ahead of this weekend's American International Toy Fair in NYC, where toy companies will preview their upcoming lines for the press (and we'll be sure to report on the latest happenings), Hasbro unveiled the first official look at the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' action figures from their Marvel Legends Infinite Series.
We live in a world where every single video game, old TV show, cartoon and even toy line has become ripe for cinematic adaptation, and now card games are entering the fray. 'Magic: The Gathering' is one of the most popular card games ever made, so it's not surprising that 20th Century Fox is now working to bring it to the big screen on a scale that's already being compared to 'Lord of the Rings.'
If you've ever watched 'Transformers' back in the day, you probably remember the rambunctious Decepticon named Starscream. This robot of the skies always wanted to wrestle command of the Decepticons away from Megatron, but was almost always foiled, usually by his own doing. Today we honor him and his be-smirked face as the Cosplay of the Day!
'Thor: The Dark World' will soon be upon us, hitting theaters November 8, 2013, and so will Marvel's accompanying toy line. We got the chance to attend Hasbro's Fan Media Day during the 2013 American International Toy Fair, which showed off the new 'Thor 2' action figures and gadgets.
Previous toy releases, like most recently with the 'Iron Man 3' LEGO sets, have teased potential spoilers from the
Let me say this right up front: the Cobra Commander is in no way bitter that his show, 'G.I. Joe: Renegades,' was cancelled by the Hub Network and those silly, brain-damaged, sparkly ponies of 'My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic' have just been greenlit for a third season. Not bitter. At all.
And it's not like I've contacted my one-time ally Megatron from 'Transformers: Prime' to coordinate a HIS
