Sega's rhythm-based game, Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX, has been out in Japan for around two years, but it's finally coming to North America.

Hatsune Miku has had a pretty big year, especially with her Tetsuya Nomura project and singing on David Letterman. Now, she's going to be singing in North America one more time. The newest addition to this vocaloid series has some pretty unique art to it. While Hatsune Miku usually appears as a traditional anime character, Destructoid reports that this version of the game takes after the Good Smile Company's Nendoroid figures. This means that there's a lot more hair and a lot less body on this game's character models.

Don't let the size of these characters deceive you -- this game is anything but small. Project Mirai DX not only features over 45 songs, but an array of different costumes for every character as well as touchscreen functionality.

Don't miss Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX when it comes out in North America on May 26 for the Nintendo 3DS.
