Although the new year has brought a lot of new game announcements, it has also forced a few games to be removed from Steam.

Most notable, two of Sega's Alien games are getting delisted from Steam, Polygon reports. While Aliens: Colonial Marines and Aliens vs. Predators are being removed from Steam, they haven't been removed from other sites such as Green Man Gaming and Amazon. It's surprising because both of these sites give you codes that you can redeem through Steam. There hasn't been an official statement from Sega yet as to why these games are being removed from Steam, but it seems that Sega's Aliens: Colonial Marines and Aliens vs. Predator aren't the only ones going down that route. However, both of these games are still available through PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

If you're a fan of either of these Alien games. Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse and Ice Age 4: Continental Drift: Arctic Games, make sure you buy them soon from whatever website you can get them on, because it doesn't seem as though they'll be coming back.
