
Idaho Drivers Be On Lookout For Dogs That Survived Fatal Crash
A pair of dogs that left the scene of a recent fatal traffic accident in northern Utah are still at large. Police are asking motorists along highways 80 and 93 leading into southern Idaho to be on the lookout for the animals.
A solo vehicle rollover involving a semi-truck Wednesday night in Tooele County, Utah, resulted in the death of the driver. A pair of dogs riding with the victim reportedly left the scene before police arrived, according to details shared by fox13now.com. The accident happened approximately 190 miles southeast of the Idaho border and involved the semi-truck only, according to information from fox13now.com.

Utah Highway Patrol has put the word out about the two dogs, a German shepherd and a chihuahua, who wandered off shortly after the crash at approximately 10 P.M. on March 12. The 43-year-old victim's family has stressed the importance of locating the two animals and are asking for help reuniting with them, according to fox13now.com.
Tooele County covers a region of Utah west of Salt Lake City. The animals might still be roaming near Highway 80 or may have traveled north along Highway 93 heading toward the Idaho border. A motorist traveling through the county after the accident may have also unknowingly picked up the two dogs and taken them home.
