Idaho Poll: Should Secret Service Head Resign Over PA Shootings?

For those of you who tuned into the Capitol Hill hearing Monday morning regarding the United States Secret Service's handling of Former President Donald Trump's rally in Pennsylvania in which he came within two inches of being assassinated, you witnessed an absolute grilling. The shooter exposed a number of security failures between the Secret Service and Pennsylvania authorities that got four people shot and included one fatality.

Wow! That's what kept running through my mind as I watched Secret Service Director Kimberley Cheatle field one rightfully hostel question after another from state representatives on Capitol Hill concerning the botched security detail of former President Trump that was repeatedly compared to the 1981 attempt on Ronald Reagon's life by John Hinckley Jr. in Washington D.C.

The real-time comments from Americans watching live ranged from anger to disgust. Director Cheatle repeatedly stated she would not resign, which didn't go over well with state representatives in attendance.

Personally, I think Don Cheadle could have done a better job explaining how a 20-year-old kid managed to climb onto a roof with an AR and position himself within 150 feet of Donald Trump, and squeeze the trigger multiple times. This hearing was an absolute roasting of this woman who deflected 99 percent of the questions with responses about the "ongoing investigation" and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
