Idaho Shipwreck Airbnb With Private Dock Offers Fun On The Water
If it's an adventure on the water you seek this summer in the Gem State, it's going to be almost impossible to beat a few nights on the river in a shipwreck-themed, three-story wooden Airbnb with a private dock and captain's steering wheel.
I was scrolling through Airbnb this past weekend and found what might be a top 10 rental property in the entire country. The first day of summer is this Thursday (June 20), and you can't enjoy the warm weather without plenty of water play.

It's an amazing escape that allows visitors to live like shipmates complete with sunsets on the water.
Salmon, Idaho, is located in the central part of the state approximately 260 miles north of Twin Falls. It's there where you can experience a shipwreck stay that features two bedrooms (five beds), a private boat dock, Wifi, air conditioning, a kitchen, and a nautical theme.
The family retreat was remodeled back in 2022 to resemble a wrecked sea vessel. The best part of the property is the wide, wooden front deck that overlooks the river and has a ship's wheel on it. It's an amazing escape that allows visitors to live like shipmates complete with sunsets on the water.
The Salmon River runs right through the region and offers incredible kayaking, paddleboarding, boating, and fishing. For interior pictures of the shipwreck stay, click here. The inside is as impressive as the exterior, and has all the creature comforts of home.
I'm not sure a more fun, unique rental property exists on Airbnb. The closest thing that comes to mind might be the Crystal Peak Lookout in Fernwood, Idaho.
