Is Disneyland Worth The Time And Money To Most Idaho Parents?

Summer is the time of year when a large number of Idaho families travel out of state for planned vacations. Disneyland is a destination that millions of people save money for and take weeks off from their jobs to fulfill dreams of walking the park's historic grounds. I wonder how appealing a vacation such as this is to most Idahoans.

Anaheim's Disneyland Resort is 750 miles southwest of Twin Falls, Idaho. It's approximately a 12-hour drive or a 90-minute flight out of Boise. Depending on what day or time of the year someone chooses to pay for admission to the resort, tickets range from $100 to $150 per person.

I usually go once every two years or so, and the last time my wife and I took our young son and daughter to Disneyland we spent roughly $3,000 when you factor in gas, tickets, lodging for two nights, souvenirs, food, and other expenses. Do I think it's worth the money? Absolutely I do.

I don't think there's a kid alive that doesn't want to go to Disneyland. Even though the resort has come under fire in recent years for things like price increases, the truth is, Disney is a cherished brand by people all over the world.

It's no easy task executing a trip from Idaho to Disneyland. It takes a lot of planning and even more money. I speak from first-hand experience in this matter.
