Is It Rude To Eat Half A Donut? [Poll]

Weekly, the lovely and smooth Doug Maughan from CSI drops off donuts to the radio station.  I really shouldn't eat them, but I do.  And in order to NOT be such a fatty, I usually cut my donut in half, with a clean knife and leave the other half for someone else to munch on.  Like So:

However, the Cobra Commander keeps giving me crap about it!  He thinks I should just eat the whole donut and it's rude to cut it up.  I thought I was being the polite one. (For the record, he cut all these donuts up, NOT me!  I believe he was trying to make a point.)
