Gone Fishin': How To Fish In Idaho Without A License This Weekend
Whether you've been putting it off or have never tried it, this weekend is when you need to grab a pole and catch some fish!
Or at least learn to...
Free Fishing Day in Idaho
If you've never been fishing, you're missing out. Some people call it boring, we call it peaceful. There is something soothing about rolling up to a body of water, casting your lure, and waiting to pull in a fresh catch.
If you're a veteran at reeling in fish, this could be a good time to bring along that friend who's never been.
This Saturday, June 8th is Free Fishing Day in Idaho and Idaho Fish & Game's "Take Me Fishing" trailer will be out, spreading the good news of fishing. This is a great reason to get the kiddos out of the house and who knows? Maybe you'll be responsible for the next major catch in Idaho!
Idaho Fish & Game's "Take Me Fishing" trailer will be all over Idaho on Saturday and according to IDFG's website, "anyone who signs up at the trailer does not need a fishing license to fish at the event."
Don't have a fishing pole or the gear? That's no problem either.
Idaho Fish & Game's "Take Me Fishing" trailer comes equipped with fishing equipment that you can check out for free. IDFG is letting everyone know, however, that the equipment is available to use on a first-come, first-serve basis.
In the southwest region, the "Take Me Fishing" trailer will be at Fischer Pond this Saturday from 10AM to 3PM. They will also be at Kleiner Pond this Saturday from 9AM to 2PM.
You can check out other spots IDFG's "Take Me Fishing" trailer will be here.
Happy fishin', y'all!
