The case shocked the globe--and now, more information is coming out as Monday, July 24th was Bryan Kohberger's deadline to present an alibi for the night of the quadruple homicide.

There is no obligation for Kohberger's defense team to present his alibi to the court--just to the prosecution. That said, court documents have been released that seem rather vague.

While the start date for the trial remains set for early October of this year and very little new or formal information has been released publicly surrounding the case--some peculiar "bread crumbs have surfaced.

In fact, just days ago, leaked surveillance footage from a nearby property seems to imply that Kohberger was caught on camera.

Leaked Video Claims To Capture Idaho Murder Suspect

While at this time, the footage remains in a state of speculation--a lot of the information known about this Idaho case seems to line up well with what has surfaced in this video.

Timestamps match up perfectly with the probably cause affidavit that led to Kohberger's arrest.

While it's important to emphasize that Kohberger is innocent until proven guilty--those following the case aren't blown away by the "alibi" or lack thereof.

As you can see from the tweet embedded above, court documents are attached and Kohberger's legal team simply says that proof of him being elsewhere will come out in evidence or examination of witnesses and expert witnesses.

While the legal process is a complicated one and it is the duty of Kohberger's legal team to do what is in his best interest--most would assume that if he had a credible alibi, he would want that openly presented, immediately, so that charges could be dropped and his name could be clear.

These court documents do not provide any such proof and frankly, isn't even an alibi--but they do imply one will be coming. It is unclear of when, where, and from who that will be shared.
