Huge Toy Event Happening South of Idaho Next Month

There are certain things that many miss about their childhood. It can be music, fashion, a movie, a television show, or perhaps a certain toy. Most kids have a favorite toy that they enjoy playing with, and even as adults, many look back fondly and miss their favorite toys from their childhood. Sometimes, it is nice to go back and find those toys and introduce them to your children or to have them a part of a collection. When it comes to finding old toys and a place to browse for toys, it isn't easy as many toy stores across the country have closed. There is an event taking place next month that allows you to browse old toys, and collectibles, and meet celebrities the toys are based off of.

Toy Con 2024 in Las Vegas

For anyone who loves nostalgia and toys, there is an event in April you won't want to miss. A short day's drive from Twin Falls, you can make your way to Las Vegas and enjoy Toy-Con 2024. The event is happening April 5 through 7, with admission being $30 for adults and $20 for children aged 6 to 11, with younger children being free. There are different packages for VIP tickets, photo opportunities, and autograph opportunities with different celebrities. For those that have never been to a Toy-Con before, it is an experience that you need to see to believe.

The event will include old toys, new toys, a car show, celebrity guests, trading cards, bingo, Plinko, a scavenger hunt, and much more. Among the celebrity guests include, Mario Lopez, who played AC Slater in 'Saved by the Bell.' Amy Jo Johnson, the original pink Power Ranger will be there. Wrestling icons Sting and Mick Foley will be present, and much more. Tickets will need to be purchased for photo opportunities and certain autograph chances as well. The building will be packed full of vendors with toys you likely haven't seen in years, as well as some you have never seen. There is something for all ages, and it is a great experience for families.
