Earlier this month the Bull Bash took place and was a success, and next month the Southern Idaho Home and Garden Show will be happening, but there is another major event that will take place in the Expo Center this winter, and will be happening this month. Mark your calendars and get your tickets, because you are not going to want to miss the CSI Boxing Smoker when it happens this month.

CSI Boxing Smoker in Twin Falls

CSI is home to one of the best rodeo teams in the country and has won multiple national championships for a reason. They also know how to put on some great events, and one of the most popular each year is the CSI Boxing Smoker. The event returns once again and will be happening this month. The 2026 CSI Boxing Smoker will take place on Saturday, January 31, with doors opening at 5:30 PM and the event beginning at 7 PM. This year will be the 48th annual Boxing Smoker. Tickets are now on sale and start as low as $12 and go all the way up to $40, depending on where you sit and what kind of tickets you want. 

What is the CSI Boxing Smoker?

As mentioned above, this will be the 48th annual edition of the event, but you may not know exactly what the Boxing Smoker is if you are new to the area or have never been. The event is a fundraiser to help raise money for the CSI men's and women's rodeo teams. It costs a good chunk of change for each member of the team to travel, including the animals needed to compete. The event puts cowboys in boxing gloves and lets them fight in a night of amateur boxing to entertain residents of the Magic Valley. Members of the rodeo teams, as well as residents of the area, are able to compete. Your coworkers, neighbors, or fellow churchgoers could be a boxer that night if they so chose.
