GoFundMe For Widowed, Idaho Mother Of 6 Following Crash

A GoFundMe account has been created to help an Idaho family with medical and burial costs following a deadly automobile accident that claimed the lives of a father and son and left an Idaho woman to raise six children alone.

This winter has seen its share of fatal accidents on Idaho roadways. Unsafe, impatient drivers traveling at excessive speeds often are responsible for crashes that claim the lives of innocent motorists. It's particularly sad when the lives of children are lost due to negligent motorists. Alcohol often plays a role in these incidents as well.

Four people died over the weekend of March 7 in separate southern Idaho car crashes. One of those accidents changed the life of an area mother and her six kids forever, and a GoFundMe account has raised over $6,400 to date from generous community members.

A GoFundMe Account Has Been Set Up To Help A South Idaho Mom And Her Kids

One victim from the March 8 crash in Twin Falls County is in the hospital recovering. Unsafe driving and excessive speed is thought to be the reason for the crash that killed a father and his 10-year-old son. The community has rallied and has raised close to $7,000 to help the widowed mother of six, but more money is needed to help cover impending medical bills for the family.
