Summer is coming to an end, and Labor Day, while not the official end, is the unofficial goodbye to summer. The weather will soon begin to feel like fall more consistently, football is returning, and the leaves will be falling soon. The best part about the end of summer though, is that it comes with a long weekend and a fun one at that. It started earlier this week, but if you haven't been there is plenty of time to get out and enjoy the Twin Falls County Fair. There will be tons of entertainment, games, food, and browsing to do as well. Everyone has a different reason for going, but many agree the fair is one of the highlights of the season in Twin Falls. Gates open at 7 AM and don't close until around midnight, so you have all day to attend and it will be happening now until Monday night. If you want to get out and have some fun, no matter with kids or as an adult, you have to check out Monster Bounce while it is in Twin Falls. The massive bounce town is in the Magic Valley Mall parking lot and is open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday this weekend. A session costs $12 and sessions begin at 5 PM on Thursday and Friday, with the last session beginning at 8 PM. On Saturday, the first session is at 9 AM with the last session being at 8 PM. For all those out there who have a big truck and think it is the strongest and best, this is the day for you. Dyno Day is back and is happening in Jerome this Saturday. The event will be happening at Syringa Networks Skate Park, located at 305 1st Ave E and the event will begin at 8 AM. It is finally that time once again. College football is back, and Boise State will kick off their season with playoff hopes. Unfortunately, the Broncos will not be home this weekend, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the game. Sunday, September 1 - Hagerman Farmer's Market

With summer unofficially coming to an end, it means time to get out to a local farmer's markets is coming to an end soon. Make sure to catch the Hagerman Farmer's Market before it is gone for the season. The market takes place on Sunday from 9 AM to 2 PM and is located at 18049 HWY 30 in Hagerman. Sunday, September 1 - Evel Knievel 50th Anniversary

Hard as it is to believe for some in the area, it has already been 50 years since the infamous jump over the canyon by Evel Knievel. There will be a celebration of the event happening this Sunday, and it starts with a motorcycle parade that will begin in Jerome and come over the Perrine Bridge. The parade will begin at 11 AM. While the rodeo grabs the headlines when it comes to the Twin Falls County Fair, there is typically a concert as well, and this year is no different. Nate Smith will be headlining this year on Sunday night, with the concert starting at 7:30 PM. Monday will be the final day of the Twin Falls County Fair and what better way to end the fair, than with a monster truck show? Monster Truck Insanity Tour will be closing out the fair this year and will be happening on Monday. Gates open at 1:30 PM, with a pit party from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, and the main attraction beginning at 4 PM. Tickets are still available and begin as low as $17.
