What would you do? What would you do if you were on the toilet, doing your business, and looked over and saw a big spider on the wall, up on the ceiling, or one crawling towards your foot? What if you saw a mouse run behind the toilet, or worse, a rat? This is a situation that many fear. You are in a vulnerable state, and helpless to take care of something that scares you, with no way to make a quick exit. You hope to never have to be in this situation, but if it were to happen, what would you do?

We have all been in that situation where we are doing our business, vulnerable, relaxed, and startled because something moves in the corner, from beneath the toilet, on the wall, or falls from above. It leaves you startled and with a decision on what to do. It can happen in any bathroom. It can happen at home, at work, at a restaurant, a store, or any public bathroom. When in the middle of your business, running out of the bathroom is an unlikely option, unless more comfortable with embarrassment than dealing with the spider, mouse, or creature in the bathroom, or unless you are at home. While others find it funny when this occurs to others, anyone who has gone through this moment knows it is pure horror.

Idaho Spiders in the Bathroom

Idaho is home to some of the most horrific-looking spiders in the country and world. While many are harmless, it doesn't make residents feel any more comfortable when seeing one stuck in a tight area with them. While there are many that will say to crush it, for those afraid of spiders, this isn't a simple process. If it falls on you from above or crawling up the wall, it makes this task more difficult. The worst-case scenario is seeing it, and then having it disappear behind something, especially the toilet. You know it is there, but you can't find it, and it makes every visit to the restroom a nightmare. The same goes for a mouse, a rat, or other critters that hide in the bathroom during your time on the throne.

This recently occurred to a certain author of this article, and it was not a fun process. A massive, scary, brown spider revealed itself in a moment that made it impossible to get up and leave, or to do much at the time. By the time the opportunity was there to crush the spider, it had disappeared in the bathroom. It made the next week an adventure when entering the restroom, and was not a fun moment, scaring the poop out of the individual, literally.
