As the summer continues and the heat continues to rise, it can be a tad miserable at times dealing with the heat. While blasting the air conditioner and lounging in the pool is nice, it sometimes isn't enough, and the only way to truly feel cool enough is to shed the clothes and become a nudist. While being naked can be freeing and comfortable, it isn't exactly legal to roam the streets of Twin Falls or many places in the state in your birthday suit. There are a few places however that you can bare it all without getting a ticket, and here are some of the best places to be naked in Idaho.

The safest place to be naked in any state is at home. You can close the curtains, lock the door, and have complete privacy away from the world in your birthday suit. There is little to no risk of being seen, you can blast the AC as much as you want, and you are free to roam around the house. Make sure the curtain is closed because if a neighbor spots you and takes offense to it, you can surprisingly get fined. Click the link for more details if you decide to be naked at home.

It may surprise some, due to the size of the state, but Idaho has only one nudist resort in the entire state. There used to be a second, but it is now permanently closed. The nudist resort that is available is Bare Mountain Resort which is located on Rocky Canyon Road near Boise. The resort is open from May to October, so now is the perfect time to strip off and enjoy some hiking and lounging by the pool au natural.

While not officially nudist places, there are certain hot springs in Idaho that others look the other way when it comes to nudity. It is well known that for these specific ones, it is likely somebody will be soaking in nothing but a smile. While there are likely a few hidden gems, the most popular places to soak in the nude in Idaho are Goldbug Hot Springs, Bowery Hot Springs, Jerry Johnson Hot Springs, West Pass Hot Springs, and Loftus Hot Springs. None of these are relatively close to Twin Falls, but if you want to relax in the nude, you are going to have to work for it. For more details and locations on the clothing-optional hot springs, you can click the link in the paragraph.

If you prefer a more private setting but want to escape your home, you can always rent a hotel room and lounge around the room in the nude. Similar to a home, make sure the curtains are closed and have something nearby to throw on in case you order room service or a cleaning person comes by. You can stay in the room dressed or undressed as you please, so long as nobody else can see you.

With more hot days on the horizon, nobody will fault you for wanting to shed the clothes and cool off, so long as you make sure to keep it out of the public eye. If you want to spend some time with others in the nude, you now have some options and perhaps can try some new things you never thought you would do naked. The heat will pass, and then the days of nudity will be long gone, as layers will soon pile on. Enjoy the time while you can au natural.
