Did Someone in Idaho Claim Their Drug Plants Were Berries
If you aren’t a frequent visitor to the Jerome Police Department, you should be.
Now, let me clarify - you should be a frequent visitor of their social media page, not the physical building - especially in handcuffs, but because they are hilarious and informative.
Did This Person in Idaho Claim Their Drug Plants Were Raspberries?
The Jerome PD recently posted a story that perfectly represents how they share information in a comical and informative way. The post includes a picture of a well-organized garden of marijuana plants. The caption implies that someone was growing them and thought they were raspberry plants.
I contacted the Jerome Police Department to see if this really happened in Jerome. Thankfully, it wasn’t in Jerome, because nobody in Jerome is that dumb. We hope. The phrase ‘These aren’t my pants’ is the inspiration for the post. Claiming ignorance of a crime doesn’t magically make it no longer a crime. Growing drugs or wearing pants filled with drugs and saying you ‘didn’t know’ or ‘they aren’t mine’ is still a crime.
I’ve seen people complain that the Jerome PD Facebook page isn’t ‘very professional’ due to the comedy they incorporate into their posts. That’s true. But the Jerome PD also has more than 20 thousand followers who find the posts worthy of their time.
