For those who have never seen the show Shark Tank, it's an invention/business idea-based series where average, everyday folks pitch proposals to a panel of wealthy investors to gain financial backing. If you are a regular viewer of the program, then you might recall recently watching a south Idaho couple unveil their tasty creations being served up in Rexburg to the team of "sharks."

I can't say that the ABC investment reality series Shark Tank is a favorite show of mine. I'm not big on watching people's dreams get crushed, but every so often, aspiring business owners do get their feet in the door thanks to the celebrity investors.

Crispy Cones is an ice cream and treat shop located northeast of Twin Falls in Rexburg, Idaho. Jeremy and Kaitlyn Carlson recently appeared in front of the investment team to pitch their delicious creations. An online, Shark Tank blog gives people more information about the business and the types of cones these two pioneers are serving up.

Even the team's official website reads, "As Seen on Shark Tank," and it appears the publicity from the appearance alone is doing the business some good. I'm not sure what the current status is at the moment between the owners and the panel, but in my opinion, ice cream is always a safe investment because...well, we're talking about ice cream.

We wish the Crispy Cones team in Rexburg the best of luck with their future dealings.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
