
GoFundMe: Help the Family of Father and Son Killed in Northern Idaho Crash
A fundraiser has been established to help the family of a father and son who were recently killed in a head-on collision accident in Northern Idaho. The deadly crash happened on May 25th on US95, a few miles south of Sandpoint.
The father and son killed in the crash were part of a large family that includes a mother and seven other siblings. Two other people were sent to a local hospital following the crash, one by air ambulance and the other by ground.
GoFundMe Set Up to Help the Family of Father and Son Killed in Idaho Crash
On Memorial Day, May 25th, 18-year-old Coy Jensen and his 48-year-old father, Josh Pilch, were traveling south on US95 near mile marker 469, a few minutes before 1:30 PM, when the accident happened.
The GoFundMe has already raised thousands of dollars for the family of Coy and Josh, which will be essential for the large family, including their mother, Kim Pilch, and siblings Mailee, McKinley, Bennett, Myelle, Georgia, Haven, and Bode.
According to a report from the Idaho State Police, Coy was driving a red 2011 Buick LaCrosse when he crossed the center lane and struck a 2021 Dodge Ram that was heading north on the highway head-on.
The two occupants of the Dodge were taken to a local hospital by ground and air ambulance. Their condition has not been made known or updated from the original ISP report.

The location of the accident was the north side of the city of Sagle, which is about 5 miles south of Sandpoint, where the family of Josh and Coy lives.
