With Spring in full swing and Summer coming in hot, new food options are hitting local restaurants to celebrate the change in weather. Well since it’s Idaho the weather is actually like a rollercoaster of hot and cold, but that works too because these limited-time-only food options are also a mix of hot and cold treats.

We have a great variety of fast food restaurants in Twin Falls, though we still lack a Wienerschnitzel in the Magic Valley, and we love seeing new menu items when we go out for a meal. I found a few new offers at popular restaurants that will only be available for a few weeks or while supplies last. Sadly, if you have been dreaming of a Double Down sandwich from KFC and waiting for its grand return - you missed it. That offer ended about a week ago. I’m personally waiting for the return of the Sour Patch Kids shakes at Arctic Circle. That is a delicious treat. These three offers should put a smile on your face though:

Culver’s is offering two new sandwiches. The Smokehouse BBQ Cheddar Pub Burger, with a name that’s almost as much a mouthful as the food, and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich became available on the Culver’s menu on April 10th. The sandwiches come with smoky and sweet BBQ sauce, onion rings, pickles, and signature mayo.

Chick-fil-A is bringing back a fan-favorite for spring with the return of the Watermelon Mint Lemonade. The drink also comes in three other varieties: Sunjoy, Frosted Lemonade, and Iced Tea.

Other fast food news you should know about is that the famous chicken nuggets have returned to KFC and that Chick-fil-A has decided not to remove the side salad from their menu as they had announced a few weeks ago.
