This is incredible. 12 little girls, between the ages of 8 to 10, from Jerome have done some amazing things.

Recently, the team played on 3 different teams for 6 weeks during the North Side Babe Ruth League season before trying out and being selected to represent the league this year at the Idaho State Tournament. At the tournament they became the State Champions on July 2nd defeating East Boise 9-6.

On July 16th they did something even more amazing. They beat the all-stars from Ellensburg Washington who were the Washington State Champions, making the Jerome team the Pacific Northwest Regional Champions!

The girls are now headed to Jensen Beach Florida on August 4th through the 11th for the Babe Ruth World Series. They will be representing the Pacific Northwest and Idaho on the world stage.

In order to get to Florida the team needs to raise between $30,000 - $40,000 for airfare, lodging and expenses. The team has a GoFundMe Page set up and is asking the community to help in any way they can.

Congratulations to these amazing 12 little girls and their coaches! Good luck at The Babe Ruth World Series!
