
6-Year-Old Boy Allegedly Kidnapped By Father, Headed To Idaho
UPDATE (6/5/25): The boy is safe in Idaho. The parents are awaiting a court date and share joint custody.

A young boy has allegedly been taken from his Fargo, North Dakota, school and might be traveling close to 1,000 miles to southeastern Idaho. It's been reported that the boy's father might have the child currently in his possession.
Reports of an abducted 6-year-old boy out of North Dakota are trending on multiple missing persons websites. It is alleged that the child was taken from his school by his father on May 12, 2025.
The names of those involved in this story have been omitted pending further information. If you believe you have seen either the boy, or the father, please contact local police.
Young Boy Allegedly Kidnapped By Father And Headed To Southeastern Idaho

According to Idaho Missing Persons Alerts / Meta, the boy was removed from his elementary school in Fargo more than two weeks ago. The distance from Fargo to Idaho Falls, the location where it's been reported the family has a connection to, is 944 miles; it would take approximately 14 hours to drive this distance. The story was also shared on Instagram.

There were more than 2,000 missing persons reports in Idaho in 2024, according to KTVB. The Idaho State Police operates a statewide database that tracks missing persons and provides updates in the cases. Those featured in the database include children, minors, adults, and senior citizens, as well as those listed as endangered, or potentially at risk for harm.
All persons in these matters are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
